The Foreign Ministers Statement expressly refers to Trump's announcement on 25 September:
I will not allow Israel to annex the West Bank. Nope, I will not allow it. It's not going to happen,
Given Trump in his 2020 Peace Plan allocated Israel about 30% of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) – one could reasonably expect:

- Even a larger area being allocated to Israel - having regard to 7 October and the rapidly declining security situation in Judea and Samaria (West Bank)
- The residue being reunited with Jordan – as existed between 1950 and 1967
Trump needs to prevent Judea and Samaria (West Bank) ending up like Gaza.
