As immigration goes economically awry, and more discontent surfaces, the more ideological Albo blames voters.
His divisiveness contrasts with a Curtin, Chifley, or Menzies. A third of Perth lined the streets, for patriot Curtin's 1945 funeral. Menzies 1942 Forgotten People oration strove to relate to middle Australians. Up until 1966, he delivered the highest homeownership ever. By contrast, Albo is a fake or progressive patriot.
Modern (woke) politics is less about "left" versus "right", as much or more about governing classes versus governed. Australians want decent lives, not a duopoly. In that context, it's regrettable the opposition seems fixated on Hanson. Not Albo, who almost makes Spain's beleaguered Sanchez look like a nationalistic immigration-controller.

Every time the Liberals (or indeed One Nation) distract themselves with side-issues of multi- or mono-culturalism, they're giving this Albo another free kick.
Australians' discontent with hyper-migration is about economicsand living standards not race prejudice. But Mean Albo blames the victims, that is, slags his own people.
It strains credibility, militant Labor would corral net-migration back to 225,000, let alone five figures (or zero) where it ought to be. ABC backlashand Rizvi (Home Affairs) special-pleading are already on – plus direct threats to Burqa Burke– before he's even spoken.
