Wendy's wonderful wealth redistribution whimsies

By Wendy Wonderwal - posted Monday, 15 May 2000

You want to know about housing? Here’s the really important stuff:

Don’t you just hate it when you’re home alone at night and there’s a power failure? And of course it always happens when one has forgotten to restock the candle supply. And where’s that pesky torch - the one that never works? For the light emitting diode (LED) enthusiasts among you, I bring you the following site: The Punishment Zone: Where LED Flashlights and Products are put to the test. http://home.att.net/~ledmuseum/zone.htm

I am a believer in lists. Use them for all sorts of things. No matter why I’m writing a list, it always has two items to begin with:

Number one is Make a List (that way, I know I’ve already achieved something).

Number two is Buy a Beach House.

I know that the only way I’ll ever achieve the latter is through a serious redistribution of wealth – from them to me. So, I was heartened to find a solution of sorts to my problem. You might like to read: "A Modest Proposal for Eliminating Unemployment, Inflation and the Sharper Image Catalogue in One Swift Stroke." Just go to: http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Cafe/7014/maximum.html

Now that we have our house and a working torch, what else does a girl need? Landscaping of course. But not just any old landscaping, thank-you. Not for me the cottage garden, or the formal garden or the Burke’s Backyard make-you-famous-for-15 minutes-garden.

Want to find out more about edible landscape design? Always wanted to know how to grow your own food forest? Then this site is for you: http://www.globalvision.omcs.com.au then hop right in to the Permaculture section.

They have everything here! Always wanted to know about Sacred Geometry and The Mer Ka Ba? It’s there, as is a neat section on Face Reading.

Until next edition, Wendy waves goodbye.
