How to beat drug addiction and prostitution - a personal experience

By Bronwen Healy - posted Thursday, 26 February 2004

I strongly support the entire concept of people becoming truly drug free and I believe that they need to be given that option and opportunity to make their own choice to do so. As it is currently, people don’t freely receive the options that I so fortunately had.

We need doctors being able to treat patients, affordably, with naltrexone that may help change their lives for better and for good.

We need places for these patients to stay while they go through the very difficult process of turning their lives - thoughts, emotions and wills – around forever.

We need the government to step up and take responsibility for the current state of the drug – addiction – drug cycle. We need change.
