Peter Cornish

Professor Peter Cornish from the School of Natural Sciences at the University of Western Sydney was a keynote speaker at the Australian Society of Agronomy Conference, “Food Security from Sustainable Agriculture”, held from 15-18 November. Also at the conference he received the prestigious C.M. Donald Medal for Agronomy which is awarded to an eminent agriculturalist. He has been honoured with the medal for his strong, inspirational research leadership and for having been a key figure in the transformation of Australian agriculture with triple bottom-line emphases on productivity, sustainability and farmer equity.
