Andrew McIntyre

Andrew McIntyre writes opinion pieces and feature articles for national newspapers and journals on topical issues, involving analysis and commentary.

This includes a large number of articles in all of Australia’s leading newspapers; The Australian, the Australian Financial Review, The Age, the Herald-Sun, the Canberra Times, Quadrant, and the IPA Review.

He was working until recently at the Institute of Public Affairs as Public Relations Manager, organising national conferences and public lectures. He was also associate editor and is currently a regular contributor to its quarterly journal, the IPA Review.

He has made occasional appearances on leading ABC and commercial radio and television current affairs programs and was a few years ago invited as guest journalist by the French Government to the south Indian Ocean Austral Territories to report on geo-political involvement of France in the region.

He is currently a regular co-host with Jon Faine on the Melbourne ABC Morning Program.
