John Dewar

John Dewar BCL, MA (Oxon), PhD (Griff) is Professor of Law and Director of the Family Law Research Unit at Griffith University. John has taught at the Universities of Lancaster and Warwick; and immediately before coming to Griffith in 1995, he was a Fellow and Tutor in Law at Hertford College, Oxford.

From 1988-90, he was Head of Education and Training for Allen & Overy, a leading international firm of London solicitors. His research interests include Family Law, Legal and Social Theory, the legal profession and Property Law.
